DARe inviting manufacturers to join Made in Brunei initiative

Opportunity to house locally made products on supermarket shelves and places with high traffic

Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) is inviting businesses manufacturing local products to join its Made in Brunei initiative to gain wider market access.

Through the Made in Brunei initiative, locally made products will be housed in dedicated shelves in supermarkets nationwide.

A special display for premium Brunei products will also be housed in key locations such as hotels, airports and malls with an online website set up for the public to purchase from. Brochures will also be distributed on Royal Brunei flights.

The Made in Brunei initiative seeks to reduce the barriers for local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to sell and reach a wider customer base and increase awareness through different offline and online channels.

This will help reduce Brunei’s reliance on imports, increase MSME sales revenue and develop local enterprises to be ready for export.

Those interested to be a part of the Made in Brunei initiative can submit a brief description of their business and products with accompanying prices and pictures to madeinbrunei@dare.gov.bn by March 24 at 5pm.

For more information contact the same email or +6732384836 extension 244.

DARe is the national body for Brunei’s businesses with a with a mission to enable enterprise growth through a pro-business ecosystem with the necessary infrastructure, reliable support services and effective development programmes.
