[Video] Coffee Con draws on international expertise

Brunei’s largest celebration of local coffee businesses, organized by Big BWN Project and Brunei Coffee Collective, returned today for its seventh and most expansive edition at Indera Motors.

This year brings a new twist with international participation, facilitated by Dil’s Cafe founder Shaikh Fadilah, who brought in experts Jack Simpson—Australian Barista Champion—and the founder of KL’s Arkib Coffee Roaster, to share their journeys in the coffee industry.

Due to high demand, Coffee Con is split into two sessions—today’s event and another full-day session next Sunday, October 13. Both days feature over 20 vendors along with competitions, workshops, and sharing sessions.

Simpson’s visit to Brunei was made possible through the support and sponsorship of the Australian High Commission and @royalbruneiair  with the aim of fostering the exchange of coffee culture and promoting tourism.
