Over 1,400 kilogrammes of Bruneian-made F&B products were exported to Singapore’s Meat Aliyah Rizq on April 9, in another export milestone facilitated by the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB).
The shipment, made through the Brunei International Air Cargo Centre (BIACC), consisted of products from six Brunei-based businesses: Marimin’s crackers, Syarikat Kayu Manis Babu’s soup spices, Atoll Agro’s Mantap full line of sauces, Sabli Food Industries’ cooking pastes and sauces, Skinny Meal’s health juices and desserts, and Volco Venture’s hot sauces.
The products are being sold at Meat Aliyah Rizq Pte Ltd’s outlet in Woodlands North Plaza.
More Bruneian-made products are expected to follow in the next shipment, including Sahamada’s crackers and sauces, and Syanisah Enterprise’s instant noodles.

A core focus of BEDB’s enterprise development arm, Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), has been helping Bruneian businesses export through synergistic initiatives that facilitate market access, enhance internal capabilities, and provide financing support.
The connection with Meat Aliyah Rizq was formed through a business matching session at the recent Brunei MSME Festival, which saw representatives from several regional retailers and distributors visit Brunei to scout for high-potential, export-ready Bruneian products.
Under the same platform in previous years, connections were made for Bruneian-made products to be exported to Singapore’s Mustafa Centre.
Increasing and diversifying exports remains a key agenda for the Brunei government, with the food sector leveraging the strength of Brunei’s halal certification. Other recent F&B export milestones include exports to Sabah, and eggs and beef products to Singapore.
BEDB encourages businesses keen to participate in its export facilitation programme to invest in marketing, branding, and product development, as sustained demand and shelf space overseas require strong product visibility and consumer engagement.
