Registration for the Sultanate’s biggest showcase of local businesses – the Brunei MSME Festival 2020 – is now open until January 31.

This year’s edition will take place from March 26 to 29 at Bridex Hall 1 and 2 with over 200 businesses targeted to participate in the event organised by Darussalam Enterprise (DARe).

Booth rates are segregated into three categories: $100 for home-based businesses and village consultative council enterprises, $300 for MSMEs with commercial premises and $1,000 for government-linked companies, foreign direct investment companies, multi-national corporations and businesses with more than 100 employees.

Purchasing a corner booth will cost twice in each respective category, and is subject to a first-pay, first-served basis. If corner booths are unavailable during payment, vendors will be charged the standard booth price.

The MSME Festival is an annual event that promotes entrepreneurship and provides an affordable platform for Brunei businesses to gain market access by interacting with the public and potential distributors, retailers and business partners. Last year’s edition drew over 40,000 visitors.

Conferences and seminars on business strategy, opportunities and processes will be held alongside the vendor exhibition with a recreational section offering prizes for visitors winning games. Participating businesses will also have the opportunity to participate in business matching and mentoring sessions during the event.
