Seminar on using social media to target Japanese markets

The ASEAN-Japan Centre will be organising a seminar for Brunei businesses and influencers on targeting Japanese markets through social media on March 12 at Darussalam Enterprise (DARe).

The half-day seminar titled Promoting Bruneian products and businesses through social media platforms will cover the online marketing landscape in Japan and how the rapid growth of social media has been leveraged by businesses to drive sales, brand awareness and engagement.

Influencer Marketing Planner at Social Wire Co. Ltd Rei Shimosato, a multi-million dollar media company from Japan, will lead the workshop, which will end with a panel discussion with Japanese food-based influencer Ryo Sato, who has over 280,000 followers on Instagram.

According to the organiser, the workshop will run from 9am to 12pm and will delve into the current marketing trends and social media platforms in Japan used by Japan-based businesses and influencers.
